Meet Coach Espo!
I have been coaching high school sports (Football, Basketball, Baseball, Track, Soccer, Golf, etc) for 40 years. 30 of the years as a high school varsity head coach. The head football coach at 6 different high schools. Brought 5 teams to CIF Semi-Finals, Won 2 CIF Championships, and 1 CIF Runner-Up. Awarded numerous league championships and Coach of the year awards.

I have lived in Temecula for the last 27 years. Married for 28 years to my lovely wife, Kelli Esposito. I have 2 wonderful daughters, Rachel & Melissa Esposito, who are 23 and 21 years old. Rachel is a Graduate with 2 degrees from Grand Canyon University and Melissa is currently living in Temecula working 2 jobs. I have 2 dogs, Lucky & Foxy. My hobbies include traveling, RVing, hiking, camping, riding my Harley Chopper and BMW 1200gs Adventure bikes, relaxing, and enjoying life as much as I can. I have my Bachelors in Kinesiology from Cal Baptist University and my Masters in Physical Education from Azusa Pacific University.
I am extremely excited to be the Head Football Coach here at Temecula Valley and look forward to helping the school Maintain THE "GOLD STANDARD".

HS Football: Bert Esposito Named Head Coach of Temecula Valley

The Longtime Temecula Resident is No Stranger to Winning…He was 87-59 in 10 Seasons at Paloma Valley

Bert Esposito is back. The coach has been a icon in local football for 35 seasons. Esposito has been named the new Head Football Coach at Temecula Valley by Athletic DirectorGrant Martin.
Coach Esposito has been coaching High School sports for 35 years in Southern California. He has been a head varsity football coach for 25 years. As a head coach, Esposito has a record of 161-115-4. He has won a Division 10 Championship with Orange Southern California Christian in 1991. He has also gotten his teams to the CIF Southern Section Playoffs in 25 of his 26 seasons as a coach.
Esposito coached at Linfield Christian from 1995-99.He then went on to coach at Ramona High and turned around a Ram team that had lost 22 in a row.Esposito then spent a year at Rancho Verde for a year, and took the offensive coordinator job at La Sierra.
Most recently, the coach was at Paloma Valley from 2004-2016 where he compiled a record of 87-59. He coached his Wildcats to a 9-2 record in his last season.
He inherits a team that went 0-10 last year. He takes over from Lenny Dykes, who coached the team last season. Dykes had recently overhauled the Golden Bear Coaching staff.
Asked about more changes in store for Temecula Valley, Esposito was forthright. “I will be keeping some and interviewing everyone as well as bringing a few of my own people. Not sure on any of them yet” said Esposito. “I am excited to be back in the saddle again and look forward to the challenge ahead of working with Temecula Valley.
Esposito, a longtime Temecula resident, is the President of the SCIFCA where he has been a member for the past 10 years. He is a long time member of the CIF-SS Football Coaches Advisory Committee and is Vice President of the Riverside County Chapter of the National Football Foundation.
